Room privacy

Offline phone LED stays local. Online captions, styles and messages go to this room service and appear on its screen. Do not submit private information. Rooms expire after 30 minutes without meaningful activity; clearing or closing removes content. The reference service runs on Cloudflare, retains temporary salted source digests and rate counters, and sends no TV credentials, recordings or media. Infrastructure connection logs depend on provider settings. Browser capabilities remain in tab sessionStorage. A fixed TV display stores read-only access in that TV's localStorage. The server retains its authorization digest for up to seven days, renewed by explicit host use. Removing access revokes it. Room content still clears on close or expiry. The phone keeps metadata for its latest 20 rooms; management credentials stay in Keychain, and message lists are restored from active rooms rather than permanently cached. Share guest invitations, not display or host credentials.
